Power Factor Correction Capacitors

Improving efficiency and reducing reactive power

Our power factor correction (PFC) film capacitors are designed to optimize energy efficiency by reducing reactive power and improving overall system power factor. They are well suited for industrial installations, energy distribution systems, and large electrical infrastructures where power quality and energy savings are key concerns.

These capacitors are built to handle continuous operation under AC voltage with high stability and reliability. Their design supports long service life while maintaining consistent electrical performance.

Typical applications:

  • Power factor correction systems

  • Industrial electrical networks

  • Energy distribution systems

  • Large infrastructure installations

How our capacitors are made

Our engineers and doctors put all their skills at the service of a product that will meet your needs and expectations.

For years, our R&D team has been keeping abreast of all the technological advances in this field. This allows CEFEM to offer quality, durable and environmentally friendly film capacitors.

Segmentation to get protection

At CEFEM, using breakthrough technologies is part of our values. Segmented film is one of them.

Segmentation technology replaces the overpressure one.
Our film embeds fuses meaning that when a fault occurs, the outside circuitry will rush through the low resistance path created by the fault.
Consequently, the fault will heat and vaporize surrounding fault site. The amount of gas and the default will be limited to the area where the fault occurre

WHY CHOOSING SEGMENTATION?

  • Cheaper and Lighter
  • No Maintenance
  • Can be cast on in any way possible
  • More ecological
